About
Mohammad Saeed Bahramy is Lecturer in Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics at the University of Manchester. His research explores exotic quantum states in materials, particularly topological phases, superconductivity, and quantum confinement effects using advanced computational techniques.
Bahramy's group develops predictive models for quantum phenomena and designs novel electronic materials. Current projects investigate topological surface states, charge density waves in 2D materials, and symmetry-driven transport anomalies in helimagnetic semimetals. His work appears in high-impact journals including Nature Communications, PNAS, and Advanced Materials.
Bahramy leads the university's multi-scale quantum phenomena research group and contributes to Manchester's Digital Futures research beacon. He mentors PhD candidates in theoretical physics and maintains international collaborations across Europe and Asia.
