Mohammad Rezaee

Mohammad Rezaee is a Lecturer and a Higher Degree by Research Candidate in Chemical Engineering at The University of Adelaide, Australia. His work focuses on sustainable solutions for carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) through mineral carbonation of industrial by-products and mine tailings. He investigates novel methods to convert these materials into valuable construction materials while advancing carbon sequestration and circular economy principles.

His research interests include mineral carbonation, CO₂ sequestration, multiphase flow dynamics, reservoir simulation, and sustainable engineering. He has contributed to projects on industrial waste valorization and environmental technology, with a focus on scalable, cost-effective carbon management solutions.

Rezaee has received the University of Adelaide Research Scholarship for Ph.D. in Engineering (2024) and the Hilt CRC Top-Up Scholarship. His teaching roles include tutoring in Carbon Capture & Storage in Geological Formations at the University of Adelaide (2022–present).
