Mohammad Heshmati

Mohammad Heshmati is Assistant Professor in Chemical Engineering at Mississippi State University. His research focuses on pore-scale fluid physics, interfacial phenomena, and microfluidic applications in energy systems. He utilizes micro-particle image velocimetry to study multiphase flows, capillary dynamics, and subsurface transport processes.

Heshmati holds a Ph.D. from University of Wyoming and industrial experience in subsurface flow analysis. His work supports geothermal repurposing of oil wells and hydraulic fracture optimization. He teaches transport phenomena and mentors students in energy-related research projects.
