Mohamed F. Alsharedi

Mohamed F. Alsharedi is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Kentucky's Markey Cancer Center, specializing in medical oncology and hematology. He provides comprehensive care for patients with cancers (lung, breast, pancreatic, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, hematologic malignancies) and blood disorders (thrombosis, bleeding disorders, anemia). His expertise spans cancer diagnosis, treatment, and personalized medicine.

Dr. Alsharedi earned his MD from Tripoli University (Libya) and completed Internal Medicine residency and Medical Oncology fellowship at Marshall University's Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine. He served as key faculty in Marshall's Hematology & Medical Oncology Fellowship program (2015–2020) and has contributed over 20 peer-reviewed publications and national presentations.

He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, and Hematology, and holds the FACP distinction. His clinical practice focuses on compassionate, evidence-based care, emphasizing patient and family well-being during cancer journeys.
