Modrag Stojanovic

Modrag Stojanovic is an Assistant Professor at the University of Niš, Faculty of Electronics, Department of Electrical Power Engineering. He obtained his doctorate in Electrical Power Engineering from the same faculty in 2003, following a Master's degree in 2003 and graduation from the University of Belgrade in 1996 with a major in Electrical Power Systems.

His research focuses on power systems analysis, particularly voltage stability, energy loss assessment, and fuzzy logic applications in distribution networks. He has contributed to methodologies for voltage collapse evaluation and energy efficiency optimization in low-voltage networks.

Selected publications highlight his work on fuzzy clustering techniques for energy loss calculations, dynamic modeling for voltage collapse, and analysis of aerial bundled cables. He has participated in 6 Ministry of Serbia-funded scientific projects and published 48 papers and a monograph.
