Mitsuko Shirai is a Professor of Voice at Karlsruhe University and a celebrated lied singer, specializing in German art song interpretation. She collaborates closely with pianist Hartmut Höll and has held visiting professorships at institutions including Salzburg, Mozarteum, and the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM).
