Mithu Bhattacharya

Mithu Bhattacharya is Professor of Decision Sciences in the College of Business Administration at the University of Detroit Mercy. She holds a PhD in Information Sciences and Technology from Pennsylvania State University, with MS and BS degrees from Birla Institute of Technology.

Her research examines technology adoption patterns including RFID systems in retail, ERP implementation in emergency services, and social media analytics. She develops analytical frameworks for innovation diffusion across organizational contexts with emphasis on retail, healthcare, and public service applications.
