Mitchell R. McGill

Dr. Mitchell R. McGill is an Associate Professor at the Fay W. Boozman College of Public Health, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). He serves as Technical Director of Regional Clinical Laboratory Testing and Director of the Graduate Certificate in Regulatory Sciences. His research focuses on acetaminophen-induced liver injury, liver regeneration mechanisms, and clinical biomarker development. He combines animal models, human specimens, and cell cultures to address healthcare challenges in these areas. McGill holds a Ph.D. in Toxicology from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and a B.A. in Biology from the University of Missouri.
