Mitch Bryson

Dr. Mitch Bryson is a Lecturer at the School of Aerospace, Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering, The University of Sydney, and serves as Director of the Undergraduate Mechatronics Program. His research focuses on aerial and marine robotic navigation, sensor fusion, and 3D perception for ecological applications.

His work integrates computer vision, hyperspectral imaging, and LiDAR to advance autonomous environmental monitoring in forestry, marine science, and ecological surveying. Recent projects emphasize deep learning for 3D point cloud analysis and domain adaptation with synthetic data.
