Misty G. Anderson is a Professor in the Department of English at the University of Tennessee's College of Arts & Sciences, holding the prestigious Lindsay Young Chair of Excellence in the Humanities. She also maintains courtesy appointments in Theatre and Religious Studies. Anderson earned her B.A. from Yale University (majoring in English) and graduate degrees from Vanderbilt University.
