Mirko Braack

Mirko K. Braack is a postdoctoral researcher at the Research Institute Social Cohesion (Frankfurt division) and the Institute of Sociology at Goethe University Frankfurt. He holds a PhD in Sociology from the University of Rostock (2022) and specializes in gender ideologies, family sociology, and migration studies.

Research Focus: His work examines exogamy, same-sex unions, and gendered employment patterns in migration contexts. Publications in journals like European Sociological Review and Gender Issues highlight his quantitative analyses of social integration in Germany and Europe.

Affiliations: Currently involved in the RISS CoRe Project and The Social Integration Paradox project, supporting data collection coordination. Previously studied political science and sociology at the University of Rostock.
