Mirjam Stroetinga

Mirjam Stroetinga is a Senior Advisor at the Marnix Education Center and a PhD candidate at the University of Humanistic Studies in Utrecht. Her doctoral research explores how primary school teachers and parents can collaborate on parenting to enhance children's personal, social, and societal development. Supervised by Wiel Veugelers (supervisor) and Yvonne Leeman (co-supervisor), her work addresses tensions arising from societal diversity and individualization in education.

Her research methodology includes a systematic literature review, qualitative letter studies, teacher training surveys, and interviews with school principals.
