Miray Akdağ

Miray Akdağ is an Advisory Board Member at Bilkent University's Faculty of Art, Design, and Architecture. She served as a part-time Lecturer (2013-2014) and currently holds the role of EU Press Officer in Turkey since 2017. Her career spans journalism, academia, and policy.

Research interests focus on media regulation, political communication, and EU policy dynamics. Her journalistic career included 10 years as a political correspondent for NTV, covering Turkey's Grand National Assembly and governmental affairs. She has also worked at CNN International and TRT, hosting weekly shows. Awards include BBC Academy certifications and recognitions for journalistic excellence.

Professional experience includes roles at the World Bank and UN during her studies. She speaks English and Spanish fluently.
