Miranda Miller

Miranda Miller serves as an Associate Instructor in English at the College of Arts and Sciences, Western Carolina University. She holds an MA from Western Carolina University and a BA from Carson-Newman College. With deep roots in the Appalachian region, Miller focuses on connecting classroom learning to real-world experiences through a liberal studies philosophy.

Her research explores Appalachian studies, popular culture analysis, and rhetorical theory. She examines how regional identity intersects with contemporary media landscapes and communication practices. Miller maintains active engagement with pedagogical strategies that bridge academic writing with students' lived experiences.
