Dr. Mirabelle Muuls is an Associate Professor in Economics at the Imperial College Business School, co-Director of the School of Convergence Science - Sustainability, and co-Director of the Hitachi-Imperial Centre for Decarbonisation and Natural Climate Solutions. She holds affiliations with the National Bank of Belgium, CEPR, and the London School of Economics' Centre for Economic Performance.
- Education: PhD and MSc in Economics from LSE; studies in Economics at FUSL and UCLouvain (Belgium).
Her research focuses on climate policy impacts on firms, energy efficiency, innovation, and household energy behavior. She analyzes smart meter data and conducts randomized trials. She also explores international trade and globalization.
Notable awards include the Imperial College President's Medal (2019) and the Erik Kempe Award (2015). She previously led the MSc Climate Change, Management and Finance program and holds the Imperial College Junior Research Fellowship.
