Mira Glodeanu

Mira Glodeanu is a Professor of Baroque Violin at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and a Visiting Professor at the University of Salamanca. She graduated with the highest distinctions from the Bucharest Academy of Music under Modest Iftinchi and specialized in early music with Sigiswald Kuijken in Brussels.

Her research and performance interests focus on Early Music, particularly Baroque Violin, Chamber Music, and Historical Performance practices. She has collaborated with renowned ensembles like l'Arpeggiata, Il Gardellino, and La Fenice, and co-founded the ensemble Ausonia in 1998.

Glodeanu has held leadership roles, including artistic director of the Philidor ensemble (2012–2015), and contributed to recordings such as the world premiere of F. Francoeur's violin sonatas and Biber's Rosary Sonatas. She teaches master classes across Europe and works with publishers like Hitasura and Ambronay.
