Minxiang Zeng is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Texas Tech University. His research focuses on colloidal nanoinks and advanced manufacturing techniques for next-generation energy, environmental, and sensing devices. Prior to joining Texas Tech, he worked as a Research Scientist at the University of Notre Dame in the Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering.

The Zeng Lab investigates fundamental characteristics of emerging materials and develops methodologies for manufacturing multifunctional materials with controlled micro-architectures. Key research areas include advanced manufacturing, renewable energy, environmental mitigation, bioinspired engineering, and colloid and interface science. His work combines tools to address challenges in energy storage, wearable sensors, and sustainable materials.
Recent publications highlight trends in machine learning-assisted manufacturing, multi-material additive manufacturing, and colloidal nanoparticle inks for functional devices. His lab emphasizes scalable and low-cost fabrication of thermoelectric composites, magnetic materials, and bioinspired systems.
