Minsung Kim is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science and WINLAB at Rutgers University, where he leads the EXceL: NextG Wireless and Emerging Computing Systems Laboratory. He previously served as a Postdoctoral Associate at Yale University and earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Princeton University, supported by the Siebel Scholars Fellowship and Qualcomm Innovation Fellowship.
Research Focus: Quantum and quantum-inspired computing systems for next-generation wireless networks, particularly accelerating baseband processing via quantum optimization techniques. His work bridges wireless communication, AI, and emerging computational paradigms like Ising machines and MIMO systems.
