Minmei Wang is an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science and Engineering department at the University of Connecticut. She leads the Advanced Networks, Security, and Systems (ANSS) lab, focusing on networks, security, and systems research. Her work addresses challenging problems in AI-driven 5G/6G, IoT, edge computing, SDN, and data management.
Education: PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of California Santa Cruz (2022), advised by Dr. Chen Qian.
Recent achievements include NSF grants (NeTS and CHEST programs as lead PI) and service as a PC member for ICDCS 2025. She actively recruits self-motivated PhD students for Spring/Fall 2025 openings.
Research interests span AI for next-gen networks, secure IoT systems, edge computing architectures, and data-driven network analysis.
