Minhua LING is an Associate Professor at the Geneva Graduate Institute, specializing in socio-cultural anthropology. She holds a PhD from Yale University and previously taught at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (2013–2022) before joining Geneva. Her research focuses on urbanization, rural transformation, socio-ecological sustainability, and inequality in China and East Asia.
Her expertise includes urban governance, migration studies, and sustainable development. Current projects examine rural socioecological changes post-urbanization and the impacts of state-led urbanization policies.
