Mingyu Chen

Dr. Mingyu Chen is an International Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Accounting and Finance at Lancaster University Management School. He joined Lancaster in 2018 after completing his doctoral studies at King’s College London. His research primarily focuses on firm valuation, accounting-based pricing anomalies, real options analysis, and analysts’ forecasts.

His work explores the intersection of financial decision-making and market anomalies, particularly how managerial capabilities influence corporate growth strategies under uncertainty. Recent publications analyze ambiguity in resource allocation and investment efficiency.
