Mingxia Liu, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine and Co-Director of Radiological Sciences Faculty Development. She specializes in advancing machine learning technologies for automated brain disease analysis, particularly using MRI/PET modalities. Her work focuses on clinical applications of neuroimaging analysis, including Alzheimer’s disease, MCI, and autism. Dr. Liu leads the UNC Imaging Analysis Group and has developed groundbreaking frameworks for disease diagnosis and prognosis.
