Mingfu Yu

Mingfu Yu, MD, MS, is an Assistant Professor of Pathology at Yale University's Yale School of Medicine, specializing in General Surgical Pathology. She holds affiliations with Bone & Soft Tissue Pathology and Yale Medicine. Previously, she served as Assistant Professor at UConn Health's Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, and held roles as Medical Director at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital and Johnson Memorial Medical Center. Dr. Yu is board certified in both Anatomic Pathology (since 2004) and Cytopathology (since 2005).

Education: Medical Degree and Master of Science in Pathophysiology from Third Military Medical University (Chongqing, China). Residencies in Pathology at Truman Health Center/University of Missouri and Barnes-Jewish Hospital/Washington University, followed by fellowships in Surgical Pathology and Cytopathology at Hartford Hospital.
