Mina Stanikic

Mina Stanikic, MD, PhD, is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Prevention Institute at the University of Zurich, where she completed her doctoral studies under Prof. Dr. Viktor von Wyl. Her research focuses on aging with multiple sclerosis (MS) through the Swiss Multiple Sclerosis Registry (SMSR), employing quantitative and qualitative methodologies to investigate patient-centered outcomes.

Her work spans diverse aspects of MS, including social support systems, medication adherence, and quality-of-life challenges. She contributes to the SMSR's citizen-science approach, which integrates patient-reported data with clinical and epidemiological analysis to drive research independence from pharmaceutical influence.
