About
Dr. Milan Stankovic is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Biology and Ecology, Faculty of Science and Mathematics, University of Kragujevac. His research focuses on plant morphology, systematics, ecology, and the biological roles of secondary metabolites. He holds a PhD from the same institution (2012) and a bachelor's degree (2007). His work bridges ecological studies with phytochemical analysis, emphasizing plant adaptation and environmental interactions. Key research areas include halophytes, phytochemical biodiversity, and bioactive compounds in medicinal plants. Recent studies explore radioactivity in ecosystems and immunomodulatory effects of plant extracts.
Education: B.Sc. (2007), Ph.D. (2012). His research teams investigate plant-environment interactions and natural product applications. Active in environmental monitoring and rural policy analysis, his interdisciplinary approach spans botany, ecology, and pharmacology.
