Milan Pospišil is a Full Professor at the Department of Field Crops, Forage and Grassland in the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Zagreb. He has held various academic positions since 1987, progressing to Full Professor in 2013. His office is located in the 6th pavilion, 3rd floor at the Faculty.
- Education: Ph.D. (1996), M.Sc. (1990), and B.Sc. (1987) in Agriculture from University of Zagreb.
Research Interests: Focus on optimizing production of sugar beet, rapeseed, sunflower, and other industrial crops, with emphasis on sustainable practices like integrated pest management and organic manures. His work addresses yield optimization, seed quality, and biomass production under varying agricultural conditions.
Publications: Recent works center on agronomic techniques for industrial crops, including studies on nitrogen fertilization and organic farming methods. His publications reflect expertise in both practical and theoretical aspects of crop science.
Projects: Coordinated multiple initiatives funded by Croatian science foundation, EU programs, and national institutions, focusing on genetic resource conservation, sustainable agricultural systems, and improving educational practices in agronomy.
