Milan Mitka is a Researcher at the Department of Behavioural Neuroscience within the Center for Experimental Medicine (CEM) at the Slovak Academy of Sciences (SAS). He holds a PhD in Normal and Pathological Physiology and has expertise in cognitive science, neuroscience, and electrophysiological methods. His research focuses on visual working memory mechanisms.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the Faculty of Arts, Comenius University in Bratislava
- Master's in Cognitive Science from the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics, and Informatics, Comenius University
- Doctoral studies in Normal and Pathological Physiology at Comenius University and SAS, supervised by Dr. Igor Riečanský
Research emphasizes electrophysiological investigations of visual working memory. He has completed international stays at the University of Vienna under Erasmus+ and CEEPUS programs. Currently based at CEM SAS’s Institute of Normal and Pathological Physiology in Bratislava.
