Mikko Myrskylä is a Professor at the University of Helsinki's Faculty of Social Sciences, Department of Sociology and Demography. His research focuses on demography, sociology, statistics, and social/economic geography. He leads the FLUX research project (2024-2027) funded by the Finnish Strategic Research Council and has contributed to EU FP7 methodology projects.
