Mike Tueller is a Professor of Classics at Arizona State University's School of International Letters and Cultures. He holds affiliations with the Lincoln Center for Applied Ethics. His academic journey includes a B.A. (1992) and Ph.D. (2003) in Classical Philology from Harvard University, followed by teaching at Brigham Young University before joining ASU in 2008.
His research focuses on the Hellenistic period (post-Alexander to pre-Augustan eras), particularly the evolution of epigram poetry. He examines how Hellenistic writers navigated cultural displacement through erudite and cosmopolitan literary expressions.
