Dr. Mike Axtell is a Professor of Mathematics and Actuarial Science at the University of St. Thomas, College of Arts and Sciences. He holds a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Iowa and a BS in Mathematics with a minor in History from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. His research focuses on Commutative Ring Theory, Abstract Algebra, and Mathematics Education.
