Dr. Mike Abrams and Dr. Lidia D. Abrams are board-certified psychologists practicing in Jersey City (since 1988) and Clifton, NJ (since 1990). They are Adjunct Professors at New York University, teaching graduate courses in CBT, modern psychological treatments, and the psychology of sex and relationships. Both are certified supervisors in Rational Emotive and Cognitive Behavior Therapy and have collaborated with pioneers like Albert Ellis and Aaron Beck.

Their research focuses on the long-term effects of childhood trauma on adult sexual development, emotional functioning, and intimacy.
