Mikael Rask Madsen

Mikael Rask Madsen is a Professor of International Law and Courts at the University of Copenhagen, where he leads the iCourts Centre of Excellence. His research examines the authority and legitimacy of international courts, focusing on their interactions with national legal systems and political dynamics. He has conducted fieldwork across Central America, the Caribbean, Africa, and Europe, analyzing how legal norms and institutions shape global governance.
