Miguel Baião

Miguel Baião is an Associate Professor at Lusófona University in Lisbon, holding a Ph.D. and Master's in Economic Sociology from ISEG/Lisbon University. He also earned a Bachelor's in Agronomic Engineering (Rural Extension) from Évora University.

His research focuses on Human Resource Management, Vocational Education and Training (VET), Labour Market Dynamics, and Organizational Sociology. Recent publications analyze skill mismatch theories, assistive technology during the pandemic, and socioeconomic variables impacting HRM.

He serves as Director of the "MBA in Advanced Human Resources Management" and "Post-graduate Studies in Business and Organisations Management" at Lusófona University. Previously, he held policy roles at the European Commission, ANQEP, IEFP, and ETF for Central Asia.

As an Integrated Researcher at ISEG RESEARCH and Collaborator at Lusoglobe and INTREPID LAB, he contributes to labor policy analysis and global challenges research.
