Michèle Belot is Frances Perkins Professor of Industrial and Labor Relations and Professor of Economics at Cornell University. Her work applies experimental methods to labor, health, and education economics, designing randomized trials for behavioral interventions. Recent projects target healthier behaviors in low-income families and job-search information access.
She is President of the European Association of Labour Economists and has published in the Review of Economic Studies, PNAS, and Journal of Health Economics. Her courses include 'Visualizing Economics' and Labor Economics workshops.
