Michelle Samuel is a Senior Lecturer and Clinical Education Coordinator for the Athletic Training Program in the Department of Kinesiology and Nutrition Sciences at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (School of Allied Health Sciences). She joined the department in fall 2011 and teaches courses in lower extremity assessment, therapeutic exercise, and clinical experiences in athletic training.

Her research interests focus on athletic training education, rehabilitation sciences, and clinical pedagogy. Samuel serves as a lead advisor for the Far West Student Leadership Committee and a Peer Reviewer for the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE). She has received multiple accolades including the 2014 Distinguished Teaching Award, 2015 Special Service Award from NevATA, 2019 FWATA Special Recognition Award, and the 2022 UNLV School of Integrated Health Sciences Alumna of the Year Award.
