Professor Michelle R. Scott is a faculty member in the Department of History at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), with affiliate appointments in Africana Studies, Gender, Women’s + Sexuality Studies, and the Language, Literature, and Culture Doctoral Program.
