Michelle Kuenzi

Michelle Kuenzi is a Professor of Political Science at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), and an Adjunct Professor at Memorial University of Newfoundland. Her research focuses on African politics, democracy, and democratization processes across regions. She examines political behavior, voter turnout, electoral systems, and the performance of incumbent presidents in Africa. Current projects address remittances' impact on political attitudes and the relationship between crime and democratic stability in Africa.

Dr. Kuenzi’s work bridges theoretical and applied aspects of political science, emphasizing empirical analysis of governance and electoral dynamics. She holds affiliations at two universities, contributing to academic discourse on global political systems and development.
