Michelle Hon

Michelle Hon is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Roseman University of Health Sciences, where she serves as Director of Student Affairs and oversees the Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiential Program (APPE) for P3 students on the Henderson campus. She also manages a Medicare Call Center that has saved Nevadans over one million dollars in prescription costs.

Her research focuses on Community Pharmacy and Experiential Education, with funded projects spanning health literacy, Medicare counseling, and pharmacist-led billing services in federally qualified health centers. Her teaching includes OTC Therapeutics, Top 200 Drugs, and Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery curricular blocks.

Scientific contributions include:

• Dignity Health Community Health Grants ($22,000 and $65,000, 2022)
• CDC Funding 1815/1817 grant ($289,000, 2021)

She received the 2021 New Pharmacy Practitioner of the Year award from the Nevada Pharmacy Alliance and actively combines pharmacy practice with educational innovation.
