Michelle Hobbs

Michelle Hobbs is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Graphic Design & Visual Communication at Champlain College. With over 25 years of professional experience, she specializes in design strategy, brand development, and facilitation. Currently, she is a partner at ReFrame Lab, focusing on helping organizations navigate transitions through design-centric workshops and strategic planning. Her expertise spans corporate identity design, proposal development, and team management.

Education includes a BFA in Graphic Design from Rochester Institute of Technology (1994) and a Professional Certificate in Leadership & Management from the University of Vermont (2012). She has taught at Champlain College, the University of Vermont, and the Community College of Vermont.

Professional affiliations include AIGA Vermont (served as President and Communications Director) and the Energy Co-op of Vermont (Membership Chair). Her work emphasizes human-centered design principles and fostering innovation through collaborative environments.
