Michelle "Mikki" Hebl is a Professor and Martha and Henry Malcolm Lovett Chair of Psychological Sciences at Rice University. She also holds an appointment in the Jones School of Business and an adjoint role at UC-Boulder's Leeds Business School. Her research focuses on workplace discrimination, diversity management, and bias mitigation.

Dr. Hebl's work spans industrial-organizational psychology, social health psychology, and organizational diversity initiatives. Her research addresses systemic discrimination, health disparities, and evidence-based DEI practices.
She has authored 200 publications and received 21 teaching awards, including the national Cherry Professor of the Year Award (2016). Her 2024 book Working Together: Practicing the Science of DEI synthesizes decades of DEI research.
