Michelle Gregoire

Michelle Gregoire, MMus, is a Sessional Faculty member teaching Jazz Piano at Ambrose University in Calgary. A renowned pianist and composer, she specializes in jazz composition, big band arrangements, and improvisation. Her work spans performances with ensembles like the Winnipeg Jazz Orchestra, Calgary Jazz Orchestra, and pit orchestras for theatre productions such as Secret Garden and CATS. Grégoire holds degrees from St. Francis Xavier University and Florida State University, and her compositions have been featured on CBC and XM Radio.

Her academic contributions include adjunct roles at Canadian Mennonite University and the University of Manitoba, alongside private teaching and clinics across Canada. Notable accolades include Western Canadian Music Award nominations and a Manitoba Arts Council Grant. She has also been commissioned by the Manitoba Chamber Orchestra and CBC, showcasing her influence in both performance and education.
