Michelle Burke is a Teaching Assistant Professor of creative writing at Stevens Institute of Technology. Her award-winning poetry explores human-nature relationships, with work featured in Poetry Magazine and The Writer's Almanac.
She received the Hollis Summers Poetry Prize for her collection Animal Purpose and fellowships from MacDowell Colony and Vermont Studio Center. Burke co-founded 'Tweens Without Screens,' promoting screen-free socialization for youth.
