Michelle Best

Michelle Best is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Education at the University of Greenwich, where she serves as Phase Quality Lead for Further Education and Skills Sector, Link Tutor for Network colleges, and Mentor/Distance Coordinator. She delivers Initial Teacher Training programs across Professional Certificate (PCE), Professional Graduate (ProfGCE), and Postgraduate Certificate (PGCE) pathways. Her teaching includes the Professionals as Researchers Enquiry project and Literacy/ESOL specialist topics.

Best's scholarship focuses on teacher professional development, educator identity construction, reflective practice models, and technology-enhanced pedagogy. With previous experience as Programme Leader at Croydon College and Advanced Practitioner, she researches institutional approaches to reflective teaching and digital integration in diverse educational contexts. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Education examining teacher development frameworks.
