Michele Schultz

Michele Schultz, PA-C, is a Lecturer in the Department of Physician Assistant Studies at Franklin College. Her academic focus centers on medical education, particularly in creating interactive and application-based learning experiences for students. With a background rooted in rural Family and Internal Medicine practice, she transitioned to academia, emphasizing the development of critical thinking skills and student ownership of material through experiential learning.

Her professional contributions include designing courses, evaluation tools, and quality-improvement initiatives across didactic and clinical curricula. She currently holds an adjunct faculty position at Franklin College’s PA program and offers professional tutoring to PA and medical students. Her philosophy is driven by a belief that effective teaching fosters lifelong learning and clinical excellence.

Michele’s personal interests include riding her curly horse, traveling, and scuba diving. She is married to a pharmacist and has a son pursuing mechanical engineering.
