Michele Crosby serves as an Assistant Professor in the Chemistry and Biochemistry Department and Associate Director of the Forensic Science Program at the University of Tampa, teaching General Chemistry I/II and labs, Forensic Chemistry II (Forensic Toxicology), and Professional Practice in Forensic Science while coordinating faculty internships for Forensic Science Career Specialties.
Her educational background includes a B.S. from Eckerd College (1999) and a Ph.D. from the University of Florida (2007).
Dr. Crosby's research applies fundamental chemical principles to advance clinical and forensic toxicology, with over two decades of active contributions to the field through co-authored journal articles, book chapters, and service as an ad hoc reviewer for the Journal of Analytical Toxicology. She maintains active membership in the Society of Forensic Toxicologists, International Association of Forensic Toxicologists, and holds fellowship status in the American Academy of Forensic Sciences.
