Michela Massimi

Michela Massimi is a Professor (Personal Chair in Philosophy of Science) at the School of Philosophy, Psychology and Language Sciences, University of Edinburgh. She has held senior academic roles since 2008, including Senior Lecturer positions at UCL and a Junior Research Fellow at Cambridge. Her research focuses on the history and philosophy of science, particularly Kant's philosophy and modern physics.

• Education: PhD from London School of Economics (2002)

Her scholarly work bridges philosophy of science with historical perspectives, emphasizing perspectival realism and interdisciplinary engagement. She has delivered numerous keynote lectures internationally, including plenaries at major philosophy and physics conferences.
