Michel Weïwer

Michel Weïwer is a Research Fellow and Medicinal Chemist at the Broad Institute of MIT, based in Cambridge, MA. He holds a dual affiliation with the Linhardt Research Labs at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), located in Troy, NY, where he contributes to the Center for Biotechnology and Interdisciplinary Studies. His academic background includes a M.Sc. and Ph.D. from the University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis, France, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship from 2005 to 2008.

His research interests focus on advancing medicinal chemistry, drug discovery, and chemical biology, with applications in pharmacology and biotechnology. His work bridges academic and translational research, leveraging interdisciplinary approaches in biotechnology.
