Michel Devigne is a Lecturer in the Department of Social Sciences and Management at IMT Atlantique and a member of the Nantes Laboratory of Economics and Management (LEMNA – EA 3261). His research focuses on conflict theory applied to private equity and career strategies of engineers in high-velocity industries. He has collaborated extensively with Claire Champenois and François-Régis Puyou on studies of investor-entrepreneur dynamics.

Michel’s recent work explores entrepreneurship as organization-creation, analyzing how formalization processes and routinization of charisma shape entrepreneurial practices. His studies on absenteeism in healthcare and semiconductor industries highlight tensions between control mechanisms and autonomous regulation, emphasizing the fragility of organizational systems under stress. While no scientific awards are documented, his research has been supported by institutions like APEC and the Foundation Audencia.
