Michał Suchanek

Dr. hab. Michał Suchanek is a Professor at the Faculty of Economics, University of Gdańsk, specializing in transport economics. He holds a position in the Department of Economics and Operation of Transport Enterprises. His research focuses on sustainable urban mobility, transport equity, behavioral economics, and public health impacts of transport policies. He advises students and has authored over 50 publications in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings.

Recent studies include analyses of E-bike adoption in Germany, intermodal connectivity effects, and post-pandemic mobility shifts in Poland. He actively participates in international collaborations, such as the TranSopot conference series.

Consultations are held weekly via MS Teams. His work bridges economic theory with practical applications, addressing challenges like cargo-sharing economy solutions and urban infrastructure optimization.
