Prof. Michał Kolcun is a distinguished academic and researcher in power engineering, serving as a Professor and Head of the Institute of Power Engineering at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Technical University of Košice. Born in 1954 in Slovakia, he holds a PhD from Moscow Power Institute (1989) and habilitation (1993) from Technical University of Košice. His roles include Director of Doctoral Studies, supervisor for 14 doctoral theses and 100 diploma theses, and author/co-author of 240 scientific works and 5 monographs.
